Devil's Castle

A day hike that will definitely push you to the limits. I would consider this to be a 2 part hike. Part 1 is the easy portion to Cecret Lake. It a easy/moderate incline. Once you pass the lake you are now onto part 2. The incline increases dramatically and if you are not wearing the right shoes it will definitely show in part 2. Push yourself to get to the top, because the views are worth it. You will be able to look back down Little Cottonwood Canyon and also over the other side of the ridge down American Fork Canyon. Just below the peak you can see Pittsburgh lake on the American Fork side. We took some snacks and sat down for a bit to enjoy the views. The hike is about 4 miles out & back. They don't allow dogs up Little Cottonwood Canyon, so no dogs allowed here.
